Parklane Radiology was established in 2012 by
Dr Peter Schoub at Parklane Hospital.
Since then, the department has been renovated, decorated, and modernized.
Parklane Radiology provides expert radiology in all fields of diagnostic radiology specialising in paediatrics, breast cancers, gynaecological conditions and general oncology diagnosis and staging. Close collaboration with referring doctors and a warm, friendly approach to our patients, are the pillars on which Parklane Radiology is built.
An MRI machine provides the means to do high level pelvic, neurological, breast and musculoskeletal imaging. The MRI anaesthetic unit enables us to scan children of any age safely and efficiently.
Our CT machine is one of the latest multi-slice scanners with the newest technology and dose-lowering options which allows us to obtain high resolution scans of the brain, sinuses, chest and abdomen at the lowest (safest) radiation dose.
INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION
PARKLANE RADIOLOGY IS THE ONLY UNIT IN SOUTH AFRICA TO HAVE BEEN AWARDED ACCREDITATION IN 2018 BY THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF RADIOLOGY (ACR) FOR BREAST MRI, MAMMOGRAPHY, STEREOTACTIC BIOPSY AND BREAST ULTRASOUND
With the latest technology at Parklane Radiology and Mellrose Arch Mammography we are part of a multidisciplinary breast cancer collaboration team comprising of specialist breast surgeons, reconstructive surgeons, oncologists, and pathologists.
